Ca. Based Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar Opens 1st Restaurant in Florida

The Brand Celebrates its Newest Location in Boca Raton

Costa, Mesa CA and Boca Raton, FL – Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, the casual dining restaurant known for its innovative twists on American dishes served with small mountain town hospitality, will open its doors in Boca Raton, at 9636 Glades Road on October 13, 2021. The opening marks Lazy Dog Restaurant’s first concept in Florida.

The space draws inspiration from Jackson Hole, Wyoming allowing for guests to connect and experience the spirit of the mountains while dining in a contemporary rustic environment. Lazy Dog’s grand interior is complete with lodge-inspired furnishings such as cozy fireplaces, ledge stone, a chandelier crafted from Aspen logs and artwork reminiscent of the Cowboy State. The new location features 8,421 square-feet of dining space with a large indoor-outdoor bar, expansive 1,825 square-foot patio and seating for up to 344 people.

“We are thrilled to be in Boca Raton and to bring our style of hospitality and delicious food to the neighborhood,” said Chris Simms, founder and CEO of Lazy Dog. “The team, the guests and the community are the reason why we do what we do—to offer a dining experience that feels like family. We are excited to open our doors and introduce the Boca Raton community to Lazy Dog.”

The Lazy Dog menu is committed to elevated comfort foods showcased on every plate, and served with warm, caring service in a rustic social setting. The menu features a combination of new seasonal dishes along with house favorites including BBQ Bison Meatloaf made with all-natural Durham Ranch grass-raised Wyoming bison; Campfire Pot Roast; and Southern Fried Chicken Salad with a side of Nashville hot sauce for dipping. Guests can also find small plates such as Cheddar Cheese Curds and Crispy Deviled Eggs. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy the housemade Apple-Huckleberry Open Face Pie.

Guests can continue the experience at home by signing up for Lazy Dog Beer Club, a membership subscription that gives members access to a variety of beers from craft brewers around the country. Breweries create a style specifically for the quarterly release theme and members walk home with eight beers, two of each style, to enjoy. Perks start immediately at sign up and include draft beer upgrades and draft samplers in restaurant, 10% off takeout orders, beer-to-go discounts, priority seating when there’s a wait at the restaurant, merchandise and more. Members get their first beer kit in restaurant as soon as they sign up and a themed beer kit each additional quarter they are an active member.

The restaurant offers a full bar featuring a variety of handcrafted cocktails including the Smoked Maple Bacon Old Fashioned and Mango Chile Margarita. When dining in, guests can enjoy craft house beers such as the Huckleberry Haze IPA and limited release beers from Lazy Dog Beer Club, all brewed by Melvin Brewing in Alpine, Wyoming along with local favorites. Craft house beers are also available in four packs to enjoy at home. Brunch is available on the weekends which includes fun offerings such as a DIY Mimosa Flight with a trio of juices. Daily happy hour and late-night offerings are also available.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is dedicated to the communities they serve. As part of the restaurant’s pre-opening festivities, it will be hosting private fundraising events to benefit Habitat for Humanity. A ribbon cutting with the Boca Raton Chamber will take place on October 13.
