With over 10 years of experience working in hospitality and guest service, Goodman most recently worked for The Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill, Ga. She began as the director of reservations and concierge services in 2007 and quickly moved her way up to assistant to the general manager and director of events and reservations. In 2008, she took over as director of events. Her responsibilities included managing all aspects of the club’s event planning process from conception to logistics, including food, beverage and catering menu planning. Prior to The Ford Plantation, Goodman lived in Miami where she worked in artist relations for many international music festivals, music conferences and concert venues.
“I’m thrilled to join Sterling Spoon,” says Goodman. “I’m looking forward to working with Lauren as we assist existing clients, create relationships with new clients and guests and continue to grow the catering business for the Woodruff Arts Center concepts,” she adds.
As catering sales manager, Goodman maintains client accounts, creates event proposals, contracts, handles the billing processes and guest satisfaction.
Hradek started her career in the restaurant industry as a supervisor at the Gio Restaurant Group in Sarasota, Fla. In 2009, she completed a catering sales and conference services internship at the Biltmore Company in Asheville, N.C. During her time there, she worked alongside the operations staff in the setup, breakdown and execution of functions in multiple event venues throughout the estate, one of which included an inn with over 200 rooms. In 2010, Hradek went to work for the Omni Hotel at the CNN Center in Atlanta as the catering sales coordinator. Since 2011, Hradek served as catering sales director for Sterling Spoon Culinary Management and her responsibilities included building new catering accounts as well as entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing accounts. She joins Goodman and the Woodruff catering team overseeing client events to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction.
