A 300-room, four-star, full-service hotel as well as a 175-room boutique hotel located over retail will serve business executives and leisure travelers. These hotels will feature flexible function space in which to host business meetings and social events.
Upon completion, Avalon is projected to generate approximately $21 million annually in sales tax revenue, $4.5 million annually in new property taxes, $1.1 million annually in hotel taxes and 4,000+ of new permanent retail sector, white-collar and hotel service jobs. The development is slated for completion late 2014.
