Razzoo's 20th anniversary celebration caps off an exciting year for Razzoo's in Fort Worth. Last year Razzoo's was named Best Cajun Restaurant by readers in both the Ft Worth Weekly and the Star Telegram. They have also announced plans to open a new location in north Fort Worth in 2013, and upgraded their website to include online ordering for its popular Cajun-Fried Turkeys. Additionally, Razzoo’s created several new signature cocktails and launched them as a trial summer drink program last year.
"Our employees have been amazing,' Razzoo's CEO Powell continued, "It's nothing fancy. You probably won't see us on TV or in a cookbook. We are simply committed to opening our doors everyday…even when a Super Bowl ice storm makes that difficult. We just enjoy meeting the people walking through our doors and taking great care of them. They have paid us back with tremendous loyalty. We are proud of our hometown roots, blessed by the loyal support of Fort Worth and Tarrant County and truly grateful for our success. We look forward to many more years in downtown Fort Worth."
Johnny Campbell, Sundance Squares’ Management quoted, "Razzoo's has been a great partner of Sundance Square for the last two decades. The concept is a great success which is demonstrated by its longevity in Sundance Square, but it takes more than delicious food for a restaurant to succeed. There is a terrific management team in place who have worked hard to provide excellent service at Razzoo's and that is the secret recipe for their 20 years in downtown. We are looking forward to the next 20 years."
Locally founded and privately owned Razzoo's Cajun Café owns and operates Razzoo’s restaurants. Razzoo's Cajun Café in Sundance Square was Razzoo's second location opening on December 20th, 1992. Founded in 1991, Razzoo's has carefully expanded while maintaining a passionate focus on providing authentic, freshly prepared, Cajun and Gulf Coast cuisine in a fun, energetic and upbeat setting. More popular items include the signature "Rat Toes" (shrimp and crab stuffed and deep fried jalapeno peppers), The Cajun Combo Skillet, Deep Sea Fish Ah' Yee! and Stuffed Shrimp with shrimp and crab stuffing and crawfish lemon butter sauce. Less spicy fare such its slow-cooked baby-back ribs, Cajun-fried steak and cheeseburgers are also strong sellers.
